Guild Wars 3 Wishlist Checklist

Wishlisting is the only launch-adjacent action ArenaNet can measure today. Guild Wars 3 is not for sale as a finished product. The Steam page and the PlayStation concept page exist so you get mail when beta or launch information moves. This checklist is the order we recommend. It takes a few minutes and prevents the usual miss: wishlisting one store, skipping the newsletter, then wondering why a friend got a beta survey you never saw.

Do not pay a reseller for a “founder’s pack” that does not exist. Do not log into Steam through a third-party beta form. Official paths are listed on the links hub. This page is the click-by-click version of those links plus the wiki articles that make the wait useful.

The five-minute list

First, wishlist on Steam. Search Guild Wars 3 or open app 4743930. Hit the wishlist button while logged into the account you will actually play on. Family Sharing quirks are unlisted for this title; assume the wishlisting account is the playing account. Steam is also where the published PC minimums live, so glance at them while you are there.

Second, wishlist on PlayStation Store concept 10019646. You need a PlayStation Network account. Even dedicated PC players should do this if they own a PS5 or might. ArenaNet has not said beta keys are platform-agnostic. DualSense and console UI notes sit on the platforms guide. Concept pages sometimes hide behind regional storefronts; if the link 404s, search “Guild Wars 3” inside the PS App.

Third, open guildwars3.com and join the newsletter. That mailing list is the stated chance at the Fall 2027 beta. Discord is not a substitute. A YouTuber giveaway is not a substitute. Confirm the mail in your inbox and whitelist arena.net so later waves do not land in spam. The beta tracker explains what that signup does and does not guarantee.

Fourth, join the official Discord at discord.gg/guildwars and follow the Guild Wars 3 channels rather than only Guild Wars 2 chatter. Follow @PlayGuildWars3 on X, GuildWars3 on Instagram, and the long-running @guildwars2 YouTube account. Reddit discussion lives at r/guildwars3. Support mail is support@arena.net. Those URLs are spelled out on the official links page if you do not want to hunt them in this paragraph.

Fifth, bookmark this wiki where you will actually look. Minimum useful set: Getting Started, beta primer, combat, classes hub, roadmap, Gamescom 2026 notes, and this checklist. If you care about setting, add Orr and Vaelwardens. If you care about money, add philosophy.

Why both stores still matter

PC players skip PlayStation because they do not own a console. Console players skip Steam because they do not own a gaming PC. Both habits are reasonable for a shipped game and sloppy for a two-year wait. Cross-play, cross-progression, and which store issues beta access are unlisted. A free wishlist click is cheaper than discovering in 2027 that your platform’s test used a different form.

Steam also carries news posts you will not see on PlayStation, including the philosophy essay and species spotlights. PlayStation will carry console-specific trailers and DualSense copy. Read both. The announcement recap is the shared baseline.

After the buttons are clicked

You are not done in a useful sense. Check how to play so the next interview is not your first contact with roles. Skim Warrior, Necromancer, and Ranger even if you expect to main something unannounced; those three are the only public kits. Compare your GPU to the requirements page once, not every week.

Revisit this checklist when ArenaNet adds a dedicated beta portal. Until that happens, the newsletter remains the box to tick. If a site claims you must enter a code from a loot-box streamer to wishlist, it is lying. Steam and PlayStation wishlists are free, official, and enough.
